How To Be Late For Work From Lunch Break.....

.....by dropping your dessert on the kitchen floor when both hands are full. The plate dented and tore the linoleum. The frosting on the cake smeared on the kitchen cabinet. The cake broke in half and fell apart when it hit the floor, frosting side down. The ice cream slid across the linoleum. Then, everything seemed to smear as I attemped to wipe it up.

Despite this catatrosphe, I cut another piece of cake, frosted it, added two scoops of french vanilla ice cream, sat down and enjoyed every bite.

I was only two minutes late back to work.
